Merchant Requirements

it's easy!
we have plug-and-play options

A Local or regional program licensee/ sponsor of the Buy it*® program is required.

Typically the licensee is a Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development organization, merchants association, developer, foundation or other similar entity.

Connection is easy!

There are 4 different ways for merchants to connect to the Buy it*® network.  We have a solution for everyone.

One time Buy it*connection fees & registration
The local licensee will have Buy it*® registration forms which each merchant must complete so we can settle payments directly to your account.  As a merchant on the Buy it*® network, you will also need to agree to provide superior customer service and satisfy other terms outlined in our Merchant Policies and Guidelines.+

Value added benefits for merchants, too.

We have discovered that credit card processing terms for many merchants are often unreasonable and filled with hidden costs.  As an added benefit for licensees and their merchants, Buy it*®cards will assist in evaluating  merchant processing costs with a FREE ANALYSIS for any merchant who is interested.   We can facilitate a competitive bid process for your business and provide you a proposal for best terms we can identify.  We can often provide more  competitive rates through national suppliers through this process and often can supply a single terminal to process both credit cards and your community card program.  If you choose to process your credit cards as a result of our evaluation, your connection fee to the Buy it*® network  is FREE.

+Licensees may also charge merchants a program participation fee for marketing, and to underwrite program operation costs.  Routine processing costs also apply to transactions.
